Those Crazy Birds by Ahmad Al-Khatat
Those birds set free
They never fly again
They don’t sing to you
cause we broke their wings
Those birds are mute
They are extremely wild
But their sorrows turned
into flightless birds in the cage
Through the early morning
I’m the caged bird standing
in front of the fragile mirror
Looking for a smaller cage
This life is a beautiful soul
But people have damaged
-the birdhouse inside of my
spirit, I will be fine by the blue skies
Those crazy birds will sing to
us, just keep your head very up
Look for meaning and change
-the way you sit under the shadow
