Eighty Days by Michael Ceraolo

               July 14, 1881

I once considered correspondence
to be the great drudgery of my life,
but now my goal is to recover enough
to resume that 'great drudgery'

"When all these matters,
my life,
             my address
get before the public and they know just why
I assassinated the president
there will be a big reaction in my favor
I don't know how long I will have to remain here
It depends on how soon the president dies."
