Rain in Mind by JD DeHart

Rain in Mind

There’s a storm
in the cerebellum
a move of angry cloud
mixture across the frontal lobe,
lightning in the mind
so strong I have to stay home,
curl in bed, and take
medicine to feel somewhat
almost not quite better.

JD DeHart is a writer and teacher.  He blogs at jddehartpoetry.blogspot.com.
