Stanzaic Stylings presents the Dorothy Olivieri Memorial Award for Poetry Chapbook Compeition

This contest is open to all and begins March 29th with a deadline of May 1st. There will be one winner who will have their poetry published in chapbook form, created on Lulu and distributed through Lulu, Barnes and Noble and Amazon. The winners will also receive all royalties from the sales of their book. There is no entrance fee. Guidelines are listed below and must be followed to the letter in order to have your submission considered. The theme is Gift of Nature. 

1.  Send 20 poems copy and pasted in the body of an email, or an attached Word doc. file with Poetry Contest in the subject line. Poems should be 20 lines or less.  Any style welcome though we do have a preference for meter and rhyme. Previously published poems are fine as long as you own the rights to your work.  No simultaneous submissions accepted. Also include a short bio.  Again, the theme is Gift of Nature.

2.  Formatted poetry will not be accepted.  

3.  The winner will be announced around May 1st. and will be notified by me, at which time we will discuss the particulars.

4.  This contest is open to all worldwide.  Beginning poets are encouraged to submit.
