Transition (autumn) by Leanne Neill

Transition (autumn)

Goosebumps
I feel them
already
Leaves yet to fall
Sun condescends;
cooling slyly,
thinking I don't notice
Days depart before they
are done
Time is running out;
along with summer's
bandage
Nobody goes dark
quite like me
